The results of our bespoke research work are proprietary to the clients involved and as such represent our most exclusive level of service.

A typical project will start with a client raising a particular equity or sector that they are currently exploring. YouGovAlpha will undertake background research to assess the key issues involved and feasibility of an on-line study, leading to a comprehensive proposal covering objectives, approach, survey outline, sample requirements, costs and timing.

Following client approval, YouGovAlpha designs a robust survey instrument, working closely with the client at each step in the process. Once finalised, the survey is launched on the YouGov on-line polling platform to a sample of panellists from a representative market, with result sets returned after 2-3 working days. The raw results data is then passed through YouGovAlpha’s data processing tool-set and assessed by our team of analysts that distil conclusions and objective interpretation from the statistics.

Finally, the project lead constructs a comprehensive report summarising the findings.

Typical UK consumer research projects take 3 to 4 weeks to complete, although in certain circumstances this can be cut to under a week. Multinational surveys or those with demanding analytical requirements may take longer.
