Clear Guidance on Sector Trends
In October 2006, a leading hedge fund commissioned a YouGovExecution (YGX) research project on easyJet. YGX surveyed 2,000 people that had flown in the prior 12 months – 1,000 of whom had flown with easyJet. The findings of the project were encouraging for the company:
- Room for growth – both in terms of customer penetration and share of wallet
- Few impediments to capturing share in the business travel sector
- Further opportunities for cross-selling products and services
- Positive momentum in terms of key evaluation criteria
