Sensitivity to Customer Behaviour

In general, the nature of YouGovAlpha projects is best suited to companies or sectors that are directly or indirectly sensitive to customer behaviour (consumer or business-to-business). Typically it is easier to assess market impact if the company is focussed on a single category of product or service rather than multiple categories. Equally, a single country focus is easier than a company with global reach. That said, since the creation of YouGovExecution (YGX) in February 2006, the range of equities analysed through our services is extensive.

Geographically, the approach is suitable for any market where the internet has significant penetration. This includes most countries globally.
